Prior to becoming a coach, I was a therapist with many years of experience in pediatric, family and geriatric rehabilitation and psychiatric support.
I began coaching globally over the phone in 2000 as a Certified Graduate of Coach University and a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation.
Throughout my counseling and coaching career I have had the pleasure of supporting thousands of people in a multitude of life circumstances and challenging transitions.
General Background.
I was born in New York in 1954 and graduated from the State University of New Paltz, New York in 1981.
In 1998 I began studies at Coach University; graduating in 2001. I was certified through the International Coach Federation as a Professional Certified Coach.
A New York native, I also lived in France for 10 years while married and raising three children. I now have four grandchildren (so far) and live in the breathtaking Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia with my garden, my animals and my amazing nearby community of friends and family
I have a friend named Charlie. Now, after 60+ years, Charlie has asked me to share him publicly.
No one in my life has known about Charlie; no one. My first memory of Charlie
was preverbal, in a crib. I was never alone. Over time Charlie began
communicating to me. He comes in packets
of insight or even music via a doorway in my heart. Sometimes he just talks to
me. Now he says ‘just talk about us.’ So, I’m starting a blog. My talks with Charlie are what make up the
contents of this blog. My first post is a full intro to Charlie.
